My Thoughts On the Bad Economic News

September 16th, 2008

It’s no secret that our banks are in trouble, the mortgage bubble is popping, gas and food prices are way up and American’s are in a credit crunch the likes of which we haven’t seen in many years.

The stock market recently dropped over 700 points in one day. The largest single drop since the Great Depression.

Scary stuff.

What to do about it?

I hear so many people talking about ways to cut back and SAVE more money.

I hear very few people telling them to ramp it up and MAKE MORE money.

The reason is simple. Most people have jobs. They don’t get raises and promotions on demand.

But guess what? We are internet marketers and we DO get raises and promotions on demand.

If times get tough, I dig deeper. I create another product. Tackle another niche. While everyone else is slowing down, I speed up, work harder and all of the sudden the economic downturn doesn’t affect the Williams’ household much at all.

Guess what? Making money now will be even EASIER than before!

Why?

Because just as the cost of houses and stocks are falling, the price of advertizing is falling too.

A lot of people are freaked out and they are jumping ship, dropping their advertizing campaigns.

That means that right now is actually a golden opportunity for you to make more money than ever.

Banks that sold bad loans, went out of business as they should have.

But those of us who are providing REAL VALUE to people who desperately need our products have always done well and will continue to do well as sure as the world turns.

Maybe I’m a bit more busy than I used to be setting up a new product in a new niche. But that’s about it.

Either way I hope you realize now the importance of taking the 60dayintensive course seriously.

This stuff is not a joke. Those that do not have a stable source of income are losing their homes and more.

If you take action on what you’ve learned you can ride this out in style. Will it be easy? Heck no!

Will it take some time and effort to bust through that learning curve to master something like Pay Per Click? Heck yes!

But don’t think this is not the time to complete your information product business. This may will be the BEST time.

There are still just as many people out there that need solutions. They are still willing to pay for those solutions.

In fact, these times may have caused some new problems that require some new solutions.

Think about it. Do your niche research as explained in the course. And start to insulate yourself from the ups and downs of this economy with stable consistent and even auto-pilot income.

Dig deeper and multiply your efforts and you’ll be one of the ones profiting from this economic downturn instead of being hurt by it.

Mike Williams

P.S. Now would be a perfect time to jump into the Pay Per Click advertising game and make a killing.

This is the only tool you’ll ever need to make it happen

Making Money On the Net: Double Your Profits With This Little Question

August 31st, 2008

Making Money on the Internet: Double Conversions with this simple question

How would you like to double or triple the money you make off of your current customers by asking a simple question. Well it really is that easy. If you are in business, whether online or offline you have a good understanding of what need you are trying to fill. That’s the only way you make money. These people are trading their money in exchange for your solution to their problem.

So if we think about it, problems are really the key thing here. Without a problem they would never come looking for you and you wouldn’t make a product for them.

So if this is the case why do so many marketers send promotion after promotion to their list without even once asking these people a simple question: How can I help you.

Why are we making life so difficult on ourselves? Just because your subscriber bought a book from you about weight loss doesn’t mean that their problems are over. They might be struggling with a particular exercise, they might be wondering how to keep to their diet when they are away from home. Who knows?

Nobody unless you ask. Interested in the easiest way to make money on the planet? Interested in shooting your conversions through the roof? Just ask your subscribers what they need and give it to them for a price.

You know they’ll buy it because they just told you they would.

I don’t know why people don’t do this. Maybe they’re just afraid of admitting they don’t know everything. But guess what? You’re not fooling anyone. The numbers don’t lie. If you’re only converting a very small percentage of your buyers into customers than you are sending out promotions that simply miss the mark.

Why not just give people what they want?

It’s time to stop getting people to buy stuff from you and start giving people what they ask for.

You’ll be amazed at the results if you only put this into practice. Do it today.

How to Be Included In Google News and Get SWARMS of traffic

August 31st, 2008

You want swarms of traffic from Google? Who doesn’t. There’s no surer way to drive armies of traffic to your website than inclusion in Google news.

Recent changes at Google to a system of “Universal Search” are causing Google News results to show up, not only when you use the Google News tab, but whenever you type in anything in the main search box. And Google News search results rank well. Really well.

Now it may not be right for your business, but it’s good to have this option on the table.

First let’s talk about how to get it done. You need to do a Google search for “Submit to Google News” to get to the form.
But they won’t just accept any article that you think might be news.

They are looking for seven characteristics to your site before they let you in and here’s what they are. As you read these you might be thinking “I guess I need to turn my site into a news site” and that’s pretty much what you need to do.

  1. You need to have an original story. A rewriting of a story already in existence won’t cut it
  2. You need to have an author’s page. You should have more than one author with a resource box listing who they are.
  3. Contact Page: You need to have a page with an About Us and another one with contact information such as email and phone number
  4. Video and images: Have them integrated into your article.
  5. Have a news –style website template.
  6. Your Homepage or Logo should clearly indicate what segment of the news you cover e.g. business, sports
  7. Publish Stories At Least Three Times A Day

Those are the seven steps to getting an article listed in Google news.

Go through the effort and enjoy your flood of traffic.

SEO Scams - Part 2

August 31st, 2008

7 Ways to Know if Your SEO is SCAMMING You

It was my first “big idea” online. I’d hire an SEO guy to drive traffic to my website. I put out an ad and one SEO seemed so incredible I was on cloud 9 for a week. I quickly shelled out the cash advance (50%) for the project and the SEO was promising me 10,000 hits on my site in three months. What a genius I was for outsourcing this? Why hadn’t everyone thought of this?

Three months later with absolutely no improvement in my rankings I realized the cold hard truth: I was scammed.

It was a lesson learned the hard way. But it won’t happen again. And it won’t happen to you either if you master these 8 tip offs that your SEO is ripping you off and how to avoid them.

  1. They won’t let you talk to their past clients: They’ll usually tell you that they have some sort of confidentiality agreement with their past clients, or maybe they’re a new company. Don’t buy it! If they are a scammer the past clients are the people you need to speak to most. If they don’t give you access to them. Don’t give them a dime.
  2. They won’t provide position reports. An SEO needs to be trying to get your site ranked for a specific keyword. Demand that each week you get a report telling you what number ranking you have and how its changed from the week before. If you’re not getting these reports or you’re getting them and there is no improvement after a few weeks, you’re probably being scammed.

  1. They won’t give you a report of the links they created for you. Don’t be fooled by talk of “specialized services” and intellectual property rights. If you are paying for it, you have a right to know exactly where your links are coming from. Demand a detailed report.

  1. They give you Meaningless Guarantees

If an SEO gives you a guarantee about anything, think long and hard about what he just said.

If he says “if you don’t receive a #1 ranking we’ll keep working for you until you do”.

Realize that while this sounds good, it could result in them doing absolutely nothing but collecting checks from you for ten years while they keep telling you they’re “working on it” and “it takes time”

SEO takes time, but you should see some positive results within a couple of weeks. Be on guard folks, it’s a nasty world of SEO scammers. Don’t be easy prey.
